Research project c/owow, seemingly focused strictly on cows and wolves, is under layer observing the (in)visible borders that shape our lives. Borders such as a weaner tag that prevents a calf from drinking milk from its mother, a virtual fence that sends an electric shock to a cow simply trying to eat grass or national borders determinating life or death of a wolf.
The research was done by collecting and narrating:
– traditional stories and practices involving cows (often focused on protecting them from wolves and witches, or simply ensuring the farmer’s good sustenance)
– interviews exploring people’s current experiences with cows and wolves
